Day 1

 

The railway Oraviţa - Anina

 

The track is called "Semmering Banat" because of the similarity between it and the track "Semmering" in Austria, built between 1845-1854.

Between Oraviţa and Anina find the oldest mountain railway in South-East Europe, a technical marvel that crosses a wonderful landscape. Almost all Railway Oraviţa - Anina is made of tunnels, bridges, penetrations into the rock. We invite viaducts and tunnels of the railways, which over the years has won many hearts.

 

It is the only train two hours will seem too short, they do not come to admire the beautiful landscape.

 

Day 2 - Bike

Sasca Montana - Slatina-Nera - Potoc - Socolari - Eye Lake Bey - waterfalls Beusnitei - Eye Lake Bey - Bey Valley forest district - Bridge Beiu - Turkish tunnels - Sasca Montana

 

A circuit at the southern edge of the National Park Nera - Beuşniţa light begins to Sasca Montana asphalt road to Oraviţa. Once you cross the village Potoc and get entry into Socolari join a stone road and climb the ruins Bey (Socolari-Terziei).

Upper view to Plain Oraviţa and Vrsac's Mountains of Serbia is amazing.

We descend to the lake and waterfalls Beusnitei Beiului eye, natural wonders and places full of legends. From here, continue Beusnitei valley to valley forest cabin Bey and then the forest road towards the bridge Beiu. At the bridge, enter the path and cross tunnels dug into the rock slopes above the water. We Nera.

 

We cross the bridge and reach the Sasca Romanian suspended after only 1 km are back in Sasca Montana.

 

Day 3 - bike and back home

Sasca Montana - Ştinăpari - Cărbunari - Gypsy Peak - Cioaca High - Sasca Romanian - Casa Verde - Sasca Montana

 

This tour takes us around the village atop the hills of Montana and offers impressive landscapes Sasca by Nera and the Anina Mountains.

In the first climb up to Ştinăpari supported forces you to ride but ended up Cărbunari you can visit villages and Ştinăpari grounds emigrated Romanian bufeni called, come in time Austro-Hungarian occupation to work as woodcutters and later as Sasca workers in mines.

Cărbunari very picturesque karst plateau concealing numerous caves and potholes, and the city has even Cărbunari a tourist information center.

Sasca Romanian descent is made on a forest road following Cioaca High peak where we have a beautiful view of the Nera. From Sasca Romanian cross the river Nera to visit "Green House" ecological experiment in architecture and building cob, cob house in Romania only present on green building in the world map.
